灰汁醗酵建ての藍液を使用した「本藍注染」で柄を染めました。
注染は、浴衣や手ぬぐいを染める日本の伝統的な染色技法で主に化学染料や色止め材、精錬材等の化学薬品を使用しますが草衣so-iでは蒅を灰汁醗酵建てした染液を使用し、化学薬品等は使用しておりません。
全て手縫いで仕立てており、ウエストゴムのギャザースカートは体に合わせた優しい作りになっています。

The pattern is dyed using "Hon-Aizome Chusen" (traditional Japanese genuine indigo pour-dyeing) with a natural indigo bath prepared through lye fermentation (aku-hakko-date).
While conventional Chusen—a traditional Japanese dyeing technique used for yukata and tenugui towels—typically relies on chemical dyes, color fixatives, and chemical scouring agents, So-i (草衣) uses only natural sukumo indigo fermented with lye, completely free of chemical additives.
Hand-stitched in every detail, this elastic-waist gathered skirt provides a gentle, comfortable fit tailored to the body.
