草衣so-iの藍染は、化学薬品を一切使わない伝統的な「灰汁醗酵建て」による藍染です。

手ぬぐい、服、ショール、雑貨などすべての製品を工房で縫製して手染めしています。


日々の暮らしの中で長く使える「生活の道具」を制作しています。

天然灰汁醗酵(てんねんあくはっこうだて)の良さを皆様にお伝えし、生活の中に藍染を取り入れて頂けるようなご提案をしていきます。

We are a small indigo dyeing studio located by the sea in Yamaguchi, Japan.
Our craft relies on the power of fermentation and living bacteria deeply influenced by the natural environment.
Each shade we produce is born from the living
microorganisms that reside in our indigo vats.
It is our mission to share the rich, vivid, and deep blue of true natural indigo with the world.
