草衣so-iは天然灰汁醗酵建(てんねんあくはっこうだて)という化学のものを一切使わない藍染をしております。
天日干し、水洗いを繰り返すことで
灰汁を落とし、藍の色を引き出しています。

ご購入後最初の２、３回の洗濯は中性洗剤を適量いれたぬるま湯で、優しく洗うことをおすすめいたします。

○タペストリーやのれん等、装飾品につきましても、半年～１年に一度はアク抜きのため、お湯での手洗いをおすすめいたします。 使用する洗剤は蛍光増白剤や漂白剤の入っていないものをご使用ください。

○藍染製品は、染色後に可能な限りアク抜きと色止めをしておりますが、多少の色落ちや使用時の激しいこすれなどにより色移りすることもございます。 洗濯時に茶黄色の色素が出る場合がありますが、これは藍染特有のアク成分で、洗濯を繰り返すうちにアクが抜け、天然藍染特有の鮮やかな色味が増していきます。どうか末永くご愛用ください。

About So-i Indigo Dyeing

So-i uses a traditional indigo dyeing method known as naturally fermented lye indigo, made without the use of any chemicals.
By repeatedly sun-drying and rinsing the fabric, excess lye is removed, allowing the deep and natural indigo color to fully develop.

Care Instructions
•For the first 2–3 washes, gently hand wash in lukewarm water with an appropriate amount of mild detergent
•For decorative items such as tapestries or noren curtains, hand wash in warm water once every 6–12 months to remove residual lye
•Use detergents that do not contain fluorescent brighteners or bleach
•Although the fabric is thoroughly rinsed and color-set after dyeing, some color fading or transfer may occur due to friction or washing
•A yellowish-brown residue may appear during washing; this is a natural characteristic of indigo dye. With repeated washing, the residue will gradually fade, enhancing the vivid color unique to natural indigo
